When I met All Time Low in Orlando last November, Alex has seen my cuts. He looked me straight in the eyes and said: “You need to stop that shit. You’re better than that. I love you.” I promised him I would stop and I did. Five months later and I still haven’t self-harmed thanks to Alex’s words and my own promise.
I met All Time Low again on Tuesday (April 16, 2013) in St. Petersburg on the Spring Fever Tour. I walked directly to him and said, “I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me. Thanks to you, I haven’t self-harmed in five months. Thank you so much.” To which he smiled the most genuine smile I’ve ever seen in my entire life and said, “I’m really proud of you. Keep it up. I love you.” Alex then pulled me into the biggest hug and didn’t let go.
This band means so much to me and I can never express how much I love them or how grateful I am for them. I’ll never be able to thank this band enough for what they’ve done for me.
